The Slaugham Parish Councillors and staff are deeply saddened by the announcement of the death of His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh, after providing many years of distinguished service to the United Kingdom and Commonwealth.

The Council wishes to send its deepest and most sincere condolences to Her Majesty The Queen and the Royal Family at this time of national mourning. Due to the current pandemic and the restriction on public movements, it is asked that no floral tributes are displayed in public places to avoid gatherings.
