Slaugham Parish Council – Community Surgery Events
At the recent Extraordinary Meeting, the Parish Council agreed to hold a series of village surgeries to update residents on the District Plan Examination and the additional sites now being tested in Handcross and Pease Pottage.
These sessions are designed to help us all understand the District Plan process, what the testing means for our villages, and how to get involved.

Surgery Dates
Handcross
Saturday 27 June — 10.00am–1.00pm
Sports Pavilion, Recreation Ground, High Street
Pease Pottage
Thursday 2 July — 5.30pm–7.30pm
MacNaughton Hall, Old Brighton Road South
Handcross
Thursday 9 July — 5.30pm–7.30pm
Sports Pavilion, Recreation Ground, High Street
These are informal drop‑in sessions that will give residents the chance to:
• View the proposals and site information
• Ask questions about the District Plan process
• Understand why more sites are being tested
• Learn how to make representations during consultation
• Share local knowledge, concerns and insights directly with Parish Councillors
We look forward to seeing you there!
