Mid Sussex District Plan UPDATE
The Planning Inspector has opened his consultation on the proposed Main Modifications to the District Plan.
The consultation runs for six weeks from:
Monday 27 July 2026 23.59pm until Monday 7 September 2026 23.59pm.
We have been advised that the Inspector is only consulting on the Main Modifications, he will not accept comments on any other matters relating to the emerging Plan. Comments received after the consultation closes will also not be accepted.
The consultation is on the following:
- DP2a Schedule of Main Modifications,
- DP16 Sustainability Appraisal – Main Modifications Report,
- DP17 Habitat Regulations Assessment – Main Modifications Report,
- C8 Community Involvement Plan, and
- C9 Equalities Impact Assessment.
